Job Description
Seeking qualified Air Battle Managers (13B) for part-time service in Missouri Air Guard.

The 157 Air Operations Group, Missouri Air National Guard, located at historic Jefferson Barracks ANGS is seeking Pilot, Navigator or Battle Manager (11xx, 12xx, 13Bx) experts with broad knowledge in Command & Control (C2) and operations. This position is traditional (part-time) Guardsmen position.
This position supports Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) and the 608 Air Operations Center (AOC), Barksdale AFB, LA.
Duties
– Provide technical expertise, training expertise and trusted counsel to the leadership and customers of the mission
– Assist with current operations and recommending improvements primarily across Bomber Offensive operations mission areas
– Coordinate technical matters related to combat operations with a wide variety of organizations to include elements of the 8th Air Force, the 608th Air Operations Center, HQ MOANG, 131 BW, and other US programs
– Prepare technical reports, briefings, and other materials as required
– Serve as a liaison to AOC personnel and reachback to subject-matter experts
– Occasional travel and non-standard working hours may be required to provide support to real-world events, conditions and situations
– This position is API 0 and non-flying required
Qualifications
REQUIRED
– Current AFSC in one of addressed specialties (11xx, 12xx, 13Bxx)
– This position requires a current TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain SAP/SAR clearances
– Some travel is required
PREFERRED
– A strong technical and operational background with experience in Bomber Duty Operations and Awareness activities or systems
– Experience with a variety of National Security architectures, systems, air platforms, wargaming, exercise support and operational experiments
– Familiarity with organizational structure and roles and responsibilities of the DOD, USAF and ANG
– Familiarity with Aerospace reachback capabilities and relationships
– Candidate must have excellent interpersonal communication and briefing skills along with demonstrated ability to work independently and interact effectively with high-level government, Aerospace personnel
