Traditional Guardsmen C-130 Rated Pilot/ Instructor Pilot
RATED PILOT BOARD – 192 AS SQUADRON
The 192nd Airlift Squadron, Nevada Air National Guard, is seeking rated pilots to serve as traditional drilling guardsmen. The possibility for full time, GS-13 employment also exists. C-130 and/or instructor qualification is highly preferred, but not required. Navy and Marine Corps pilots are encouraged to apply as well. Applicants are expected to relocate to the local area for full time employment, and are highly encouraged to do so for part time employment. Candidates can expect a formal interview with a 192AS board.
The 192nd AS, is the premier combat airlift squadron, trained in low level, formation flying in some of the world’s most challenging terrain; the Sierra Nevadas. The 192nd AS is also engaged in aerial firefighting, employing the Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System (MAFFS) on forest fires across the United States.
