The 68th Airlift Squadron is proud to announce that it is accepting Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) application packets. This is an opportunity to become part of a squadron with a proud history. This posting is for a Part-Time, Traditional Reservist position, following full mission qualification.
This job posting also applies to candidates that are qualified for the Air Force Civil Path to Wings (CPW) program.
Prerequisites:
- Must be less than 33 years old when entering UPT
- Less than 8 years of total federal commissioned service (TFCS)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of a FAA Private Pilot License
- Successful completion of a background check required for a secret clearance
- No UCMJ actions, DWI/DUI, or a history of drug or substance abuse
- Be able to pass the Air Force Physical Fitness Test prior to in-processing for OTS
UPT Pilot Application Package Requirements:
- Cover Letter (Limit to one page)
- Resume (Limit to one page)
- Official college transcripts showing degree(s) earned
- Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT) Scores
- Pilot Candidate Selection Method (PCSM) Scores
- Copy of FAA Pilot License
- Copy of Driver License
- Copy of the last page of logbook showing all flight totals
- Copy of current FAA Medical Certificate (Third class or better)
- AF Forms 24, 56, 215 and 2030 (obtain from e-publishing.af.mil and complete as appropriate)
- Three Letters of Recommendation minimum(Military members must have NCOIC and/or CC letters)
- Copy of most recent DD214 for current and former military members
- Copy of all EPRs and/or OPRs for current and former military members
