Job Description
The 109th Airlift Squadron will be hosting a UPT Board (non-rated only) in late August to early September of 2022. The application window will be open from 01 June – 15 July.
This is for a traditional guardsman C-130H3 Pilot position.
Successful applicants will attend Officer Training School, Undergraduate Pilot Training, C-130H Initial Qualification and SERE before returning to Minnesota. After completing the pipeline you would have between 3 to 6 months of full-time seasoning orders.
Private Pilot License (PPL), at a minimum, is required by close of the application window (15 Jul 22).

Please contact Major Oltman by email, to coordinate a date and time. At the 109th AS we are not simply hiring C130 Co-Pilots, we are hiring future Aircraft Commanders and Instructor/Evaluator Pilots. We need candidates that will successfully complete UPT and C130H initial training then return to the squadron with the dedication and drive to be a strong asset to our squadron. Additionally, applicants will be flying, working, socializing and deploying for multiple months at a time with the squadron for the next 10-20+ years. Because of that, all interactions with the squadron are fair game for the application process. We simply want to get to know who you are.
