Full-Time C2 Subject Matter Expert – IA

Job Description

SUMMARY:
Provide Aircraft Systems/operational procedures instruction in aircraft/ classroom/ simulator and/or practical environments. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) he/she primary duty is to serves as the technical expert on the program providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives. Provides advanced technical principals, theories, and concepts and contributes to the development. May provide additional special services such as courseware review and other additional administrative duties such as publications, safety, quality audits, FCIF, scheduling, and other duties as maybe assigned, etc.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• All aspects of C2 planning and execution of all C2 aspects of ECC operations.
• Oversee all C2 DMO missions that the DTOC produces.
• Provide C2 expertise in support of DTOC mission planning cell.
• Participate as Event Controller for multiple DMO event types while maintaining focus on C2 events to include:
o Create scenarios within Environment Generator software
o Coordinate with NCC personnel for ECC set-up
o Conduct mission briefing, execution and debriefing and post mission documentation
o Troubleshoot operations related software and hardware issues
• Support DMO meetings as DTOC C2 SME.
• Advise DTOC Leadership on DMO events and C2 operations related issues.
• Must be currently or previously qualified in a C2 career field
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a DMO environment
• Current or previous Air Battle Manager or Weapons Director
• Instructor/Evaluator experience (desired)
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional literature. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, and colleagues.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to comprehend and apply basic mathematical skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Experienced and proficient in the use of standard Personal Computer productivity software tools including word processors, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, project management, and databases
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CITIZENSHIP:
U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Level Clearance
