Full-Time Courseware Manager
Job Description
The Courseware Manager (CWM) is responsible for directing all aspects of courseware development (CWD) and production in support of F-16 training at Tucson International Airport. The CWM works with the Training Squadron Commander (TRS/CC), Chief of Academics (TRS/AD), and the Chief Instructor (CI) to ensure the highest quality (accuracy, timeliness, and consistency) courseware materials compliant with the USAF Instructional Systems Development (ISD) processes, regulations, and other governing documents. The CWM also works with the Chief of Syllabus Development (TRS/SD) to ensure courseware supports the course training objectives The CWM is responsible for resource and manpower allocations to meet the dynamic requirements of courseware revision, review, or new development to meet Tucson Air National Guard’s needs. The CWM provides Quality Control of all courseware deliverables. Additionally, in the absence of the Site Manager the CWM, as the Alternate Site Manager, has full authority and responsibility for contract compliance.
- Coordinate with the CI and TRS/AD to develop the annual Courseware Development Schedule (CDS)
- Direct the production of new, revised, and reviewed courseware materials
- Manage and supervise the CWD team comprised of Educational Technologist and Multimedia Specialists
- Monitor student critiques and take corrective action when appropriate
- Interface with the 162nd Training Squadron staff as often as necessary to minimize production conflicts
- Approve the functional area standard conventions, Work Instructions (WIs), and continuity guides
- Perform CWD duties when required
- Perform other contract duties as assigned by the Site Manager
