Full-Time Event Controller Subject Matter Expert – IA

Job Description

SUMMARY:
Responsible for all phases of Mission Generation on the Simulator and Mission Planning Systems (MPS), to include producing DTCs and Crew Mission Packages.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate as Event Controller for multiple DMO events
• Participate in MPC activities in the conduct of DMO events.
o Create and distribute mission planning cell materials to include but not limited to:
 Scenario coordination sheets
 ATO, Fragmentary Breakouts, ACO
 AOB, GOB lay-downs
 SPINS, ROE
 Maps, target photos
 Line-up cards, communication cards
 Briefing slides
o Create scenarios within Environment Generator software
o Coordinate with NCC personnel for ECC set-up
o Conduct mission briefing, execution, debriefing and event report documentation
o Troubleshoot operations related software and hardware issues
• Attend scheduled academics, meetings, and other training
• Support other OTI activities defined by the Government
• Duty Day to support published event schedule (includes 30 minutes unpaid lunch period)
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Current or former qualification in any of the following:
o Fighter aircraft
o Attack aircraft
o Tactical Air Control Party (TACP)
o Joint Terminal Air Controller (JTAC)
o Air Battle Manager (ABM) and/or Weapons Director (WD)
o Intelligence
o Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance
o Combat Search and Rescue
o Army, Navy, or Marine rotary wing aircraft
o ** Any USAF Weapon’s School Instructor Course Graduate may be considered for SME support
o ** Specific qualifications can/will be directed by the Government when additional support is required
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional literature. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, and colleagues.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to comprehend and apply basic mathematical skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Experienced and proficient in the use of standard Personal Computer productivity software tools including word processors, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, project management, and databases
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CITIZENSHIP:
U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Level Clearance
