Only for the bold! Amazing opportunity for an energetic, self-starter looking for a rewarding career in a very specific niche of the aviation world. Searching for a pilot to join a 5-person team that operates a privately owned Global Express for a wealthy, young, extremely successful American businessman/multiple sports franchise owner and his family. Airplane is based in Teterboro NJ. Team consists of 3 pilots, a full time Flight Attendant, and a full time mechanic. Workload averages 12 days/month per pilot (includes flying and training). No standby, no pop ups, no alert. Flying is approx. 50/50 international/domestic and 70/30 business/personal. We visit great worldwide locations, have good layovers, and enjoy a good quality of life on road (nice hotels, generous meal/expense allowance, no DTS!). Airplane owner is top shelf…Airplane is new, fast, has latest avionics, and is maintained meticulously. Employer supportive of Guard/Reserve duty and greatly respects the service of veterans. Will likely start as SIC with short path to PIC upgrade. Will consider hiring direct as PIC if experience/qualifications fit. Benefits are solid/competitive in industry (good med/dental/vision, 401K with match, life insurance, etc). Salary expected is “high normal” for the industry (competitive with major airline coin, but with higher starting salary and the potential for lateral moves across corporate aviation).
Job requirements (exceptions can me made…we value personality/character over technical qualifications):
ATP with 3000 total/1000 PIC turbine hours, BBD-700 (or similar/larger) experience, VIP experience preferred, willing to relocate to 2 hour drive from KTEB, willing to tackle small additional duties/projects beyond flying, willing to perform tasks such as loading luggage, minor ground servicing duties, cleaning aircraft on layovers, and willingness to work some weekends and holidays. Character traits desired are integrity, energy, team first mentality, flexible/positive/optimistic attitude, not afraid to fail, and the ability to communicate effectively/confidently with VIP and executive staff.
