Traditional Reservist KC-10 Pilot (SUPT)
Job Description
The 79th ARS is seeking qualified applicants to attend Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training and continue service with the unit as Traditional Reservist flying the KC-10 ‘Extender’. Ideally, candidates should reside in Northern California or be willing to relocate to the area.
Candidates should meet the following minimum qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree (required for Officer selection).
Character: No UCMJ actions, DWI/DUI or a history of drug or substance abuse.
Maximum Age: Should be 28 years old or younger as of 30 Nov 2015. In any event, candidates must begin SUPT on or before their 30th Birthday.
Prior-Service Commissioned Candidates: If you are currently a non-rated commissioned officer, your total federal commissioned service can NOT exceed five years by the time you enter SUPT.
Physical: All candidates must be able to pass a Flying Class I Flight Physical. Completion of DD Form 2807-2 is preferred for applicant consideration.
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Security Clearance: Top Secret (will be obtained post-selection if not already in possession)
Demonstrated aptitude: An FAA-issued civilian Private Pilot certificate
