Temporary KC135 Pilots Guard/Reserve opportunity
Job Description
The 336th ARS is looking for up to 4 pilot volunteers to come out and sit
ALFA alert. Timeframe is July 2018 -March 2019. Pilots can decide whether
they want to pull 1 on 1 off, 2 on 2 off, up to 4 on 4 off. Schedule will
be up to the pilots doing the alerts. Ideally, we would like to have 4
pilots come out, but minimum would be 2 fully current and qualified KC-135
Block 40.6 pilots. We can provide them lodging & we will try to get a set
of wheels for the off going crew so they can tour the sunny California on
their time off. Title 10 orders will be cut with minimum of 31 days which
will get them Tricare TAMP and BAH Type I. They can go as long as they
want, but 31 days is the minimum. Also- leave accrued while on ALFA alert
MUST be sold back right after their tour. If they do not sell them back, we
will not be able to fill the alerts due to them taking up pay slots.
