Job Description:

The Maintenance Training Manager provides technical and non-technical training for Dynamic Aviation employees, specifically the Maintenance and Engineering Departments. This role will lead Maintenance Training staff and manage maintenance publications to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and Company requirements. This position will report to the Director of Quality/Chief Inspector.

Job Responsibilities:                                            

• Coordinate maintenance training events conducted by maintenance training instructors and outside agencies
• Work with Corporate Training Department to assure training databases are kept current.
• Conduct training classes and satisfy the duties and responsibilities of Maintenance Training Instructor as needed
• Manage the development, planning, updating, and organization of current and new training events
• Become familiar with company procedures and policies
• Maintain training materials used by Maintenance Training
• Ensure completion of recurring training events such as hazardous communications, inspector recurrent or run/taxi recurrent
• Supervise the Maintenance Training Instructors and their activities
• Monitor, review, and approve employee time corrections within 24 hours of correction
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality

 

Job Requirements:

• • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Aircraft Maintenance Background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the work efforts of others
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Minimum of three years writing maintenance training and assessment programs is preferred
  • Previous supervisor experience is preferred

• Prior experience training within the aviation industry is preferred
