Location: Bridgewater, Virginia
Job Description:
The NDT Technician role exists to support Aircraft Maintenance and Manufacturing at Dynamic Aviation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute the tests using the procedures and methods to determine maximum quality of the product
- Perform inspecting duties, organize and generate reports pertaining to inspection and evaluation
- Prepare reports on all testing and evaluations
- Ensure that the equipment used for testing is functioning to its maximum capacity and in accordance with safety regulations
- Perform daily system performance tests on equipment to ensure compliance with NDT standards
- Interpret and perform cleaning procedures prior to NDT Inspections
- Travel offsite site where needed to provide support and technical operation evaluations while following the supervisor’s instructions
- Additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School education or GED required , some college is preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend written materials, write legibly and perform basic math calculations accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to provide documented proof of previous training and qualification to meet the requirements on NAS 410 level II technician in Liquid Penetrant (400 hours), Magnetic Particle (530 hours), Eddy Current (800 hours).
- 3 years + experience working in manufacturing/maintenance facilities
- FAA A&P License is required
