Full-Time OCONUS Flight Operations Manager

Job Description

Avenge, Inc. is currently sourcing for experienced rotating Flight Operations Managers for OCONUS flight operations in Southwest Asia. Standard rotations are typically between 60-90 days with a minimum of 30 days between each rotation. Applicants must be committed to be available to rotate at least 180 days per year.
Job Description:
Manage OCONUS aviation operations functions related to planning, record management, standardization, training, crewmember tracking and daily flight operation duties. Operates and maintains C4 assets in accordance with DCMA 8210.1 and Avenge Flight Operations Procedures. Effectively coordinate and communicate as required with the Government Flight Representative, or equivalent, to obtain flight approval and conduct flight activities. Liaison as required with partner and customer organizations for flight operations matters. This is a dynamic team environment where an individual must demonstrate the ability to adapt to changes, multitask, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Interprets local directives, organizes and schedules aircrew activities.
• Serve as a focal point to effectively disseminate information.
• Operate the Aviation Training & Operations Management System.
• Navigate Microsoft programs such as: Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
• Submit reports.
• Attend flight operations management training as required.
• Effectively manage command and control center.
• Accurately fill-out and submit flight request and flight crewmembers approvals.
• Maintain flight crewmember records and documentation as required.
• Ensure that flight operations documentation and records are maintained in a high state of readiness.
• Comply with all duties of the Flight Operations Manager as described in the Flight Operations Procedures, Avenge Operations Manual, and DCMA Instructions 8210.1, and as directed by appropriate supervisors.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have 5+ years of aviation experience, 5+ years of significant flight operations management experience. Active security clearance. Advanced degree in related Aviation Management a plus. Prior military service a plus. Participation in an OIF/OEF deployment a plus.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a current passport
• Must possess a valid state drivers license
• Must read, write, speak and understand English
• Must possess or be able to obtain an appropriate US Department of Defense security clearance at the level of SECRET or above

CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) Requirement:
New hired rotating OCONUS employees are required by the program contract to attend CRC for a series of training events and medical reviews. Continuing employment will be contingent in part upon the ability of a new hired employee to complete the training events and to complete the medical reviews/requirements of CRC and receive CRC approval to rotate into our OCONUS area of operation.
