Full-Time Operational Analysts/Subject Matter Experts
Job Description
BGI is seeking a motivated individual for full-time employment with a background in tactical aviation or operational electronic warfare to support ongoing technical activities for an advanced synthetic training environment project at NAS Patuxent River, MD.
Work will include applying subject knowledge to investigate, analyze, plan, research, design, develop, implement, and evaluate the use of modeling and simulation tools and/or stimulation products. The candidate should be able to apply expert knowledge in a modeling and simulation environment, to include instances of test and evaluation. The individual will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise while acting as a liaison with customer representatives to ensure requirements are satisfied. A general understanding of systems engineering processes is preferred.
Travel to customer sites is required to include attendance at technical reviews and software integration and test with industry partners. This position will serve as the customer’s direct interface with the end users (warfighters); therefore, presentations and product demonstrations with high-level customers is required. Travel to industry trade shows is a possibility.
Desired background for this effort includes prior military experience in Navy, Air Force, or Marine aircraft such as F-14, F/A-18, B-52, B-1, F-16, F-15, H-60, P-3, EA-6B, or EA-18G. Maritime fixed and rotary wing experience will also be considered. Aircraft-unique qualifications such as USAF/USN Weapons Instructor Course, tactics instructors, test pilots and aviators/operators with other specialized qualifications and backgrounds are desired.
Job Requirements:
High School and/or college degree from an accredited institution
8 years of experience in the development of advanced technology for sensor simulation and stimulation or modeling and simulation applications or military equivaent
Previous experience as pilot or aircrew in F-14, F/A-18, B-52, B-1, F-15, F-16, EA-6B, EA-18G, H-60, P-3, or similar aircraft
Current SECRET security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
Project oversight experience
DOD Contractor experience
Experience in Strike Warfare, Electronic Warfare, or Maritime mission based operations
Understanding of current tactics, operations and adversary tactics
