Job Description
My name is MAJ Pete Ament, I’m the Chief Pilot for the 109th Airlift Squadron, Minnesota Air National Guard. We are going to be holding 2 pilot hiring boards in 2017. The first will be a prior rated board. This board is targeting rated military officers that wouldn’t need to attend UPT. The second board is a UPT board and would require a 4 year degree, private pilots license and the ability to start UPT before age 30. Our Squadron desires pilots that live locally (roughly a 70 mile radius from KMSP). The application windows are as follows:
Prior Rated Board:
Application Window – 1 Jan 17 – 10 Mar 17
Board Dates – 6&7 Apr 17
Hiring 1 or 2 pilots depending on applicants.
UPT Board
Application Window – 1 Jan 17 – 30 Jun 17
Board Dates – 2-4 Aug 17
Hiring 2-3 pilots depending on Squadron staffing
