Job Description

The 109th Airlift Squadron will be accepting applications for our UPT hiring board to be held August 2019.  The 109th AS is part of the 133rd Airlift Wing in the Minnesota Air National Guard located in Minneapolis, MN flying the beautiful C-130H3.

Accepting applications 1 Jan 2019 to 30 Jun 2019.

Open house 11 Jun 2019 at 1800L.

Interviews 12-14 Aug 2019.

Application Checklist  This handout is for general information only. You must contact the recruiter (listed below) to receive the application package checklist that will cover all of the various forms you must complete.  Cover Letter and Resume  Please include these in your application.  AFOQT (Air Force Officer Qualifying Test)  Similar to the SAT or ACT; this is a standardized test and can be accomplished on base here in St. Paul. The base education office will help to schedule this (SMSgt Michelle Hogan (612) 713-2024).  TBAS (Test of Basic Aviation Skills)  The TBAS is a computerized psychomotor test to use as a tool for selection as an Air Force Pilot. This test can also be completed here in St. Paul. The base education office will help to schedule this (SMSgt Michelle Hogan (612) 713-2024). Flight Experience  Please include a copy of your pilot ratings and a copy of the last three pages of your logbook. Pilots must at a minimum have soloed an aircraft for their private pilot license.  More time and ratings are desired. Flight Physical  If selected, you will need to complete a military flight physical, however for medical prescreening you will need to travel to a MEPS office for a commissioning physical. The recruiter listed below will help to schedule this.  College Degree/Transcript  Include in your application a copy of your college transcript. You must have a bachelor’s degree at a minimum.  Letters Of Recommendation  Please limit to no more than three letters.
