Job Description

Applications are currently being accepted for a spring pilot selection board.

Applications are due by Closing date: COB 28 Jan 2021.

Current qualified KC-135 pilot or recently qualified within the previous 39 months is preferred.

Requirements:

▪ Applicants who are not currently a member of the Air National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the Illinois Air National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.
▪ May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.

How to Apply

Applications will consist of the following: ▪ A cover letter ▪ A resume (must include 3 references) ▪ A record review RIP ✓ Can be obtained from your CSS, or in lieu of a RIP, provide a printout from the vMPF (Select "Record Review" and then "Print/View All Pages") ▪ A copy of your most recent medical information (1042, Flt physical, etc.) ▪ Flying hour documentation ▪ A copy of your latest fitness assessment showing current and previous years’ scores* * Personnel currently serving in the Air National Guard or Air Force must have received a passing score on their last 2 annual fitness exams. Military Grades: O-1 through O-4 The application is necessary for consideration to meet the selection board, however, submitting an application package does not guarantee a meeting with the board. The selection board is currently scheduled for 20 Feb 2021.
