Job Description
SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Maintain flying currencies and mission ready status for combat duty as an RC-26B Pilot. Participate in worldwide deployments, operational missions, unit exercises and inspections. Selectee will be responsible for operation of a manned ISR/irregular warfare asset during day/night operations and a diverse range of tactical scenarios. Selectee will maintain a thorough knowledge of airplane and mission systems, procedures and regulatory guidance allowing timely, accurate and safe weapon system application. In addition to local flying and training duties the selectee will be tasked to deploy for theater operations outside the continental United States and CONUS TDYs.
EXPECTATIONS: Participate in local flying, attend Unit Training Assemblies (UTAs/drill) and up to of 90 days of CONUS and OCONUS Temporary Duty (TDY) annually. The selectee must be available for operations involving nonstandard work hours and last minute schedule changes.
