Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION (POSITION SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Full time ground instructor. Requires status for periods of eight (8) or more hours per day, forty (40) hours per week, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM. Duties include ground instruction for Air Force IFT Program, administering exams and entering exam scores into electronic gradebooks. Screen pilot, combat system officer and remotely piloted aircraft pilot candidates. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent Experience: 2 – 3 Years Type of Experience: 500 dual hours instruction given. Recent military Undergraduate Flight Training experience as a fully qualified instructor or fully qualified flight instructor teaching technologically advanced aircraft in large Part 141 flight school preferred. License(s)/Certificate(s): Current FAA CFI or Ground Instructor Certificate. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Valid Driver’s License: Yes Drug Test: Yes Background Check: Yes
OTHER JOB INFORMATION: Working Conditions: Classroom, outdoors, hangar, office and ramp. Work Schedule: Full-time, typically Mon – Fri between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Occasional Saturdays. Lifting Required: Yes, up to 50 lbs. Other Details: None
